Larta has been approved as a pre-qualified vendor on the GSA's MOBIS Federal Supply Schedule, a streamlined procurement vehicle for federal agencies and other organizations to obtain services and products from authorized vendors. The MOBIS Schedule will enable government agencies to easily hire Larta to provide consulting, research, and other services.

The General Services Administration (GSA), which secures products and services for federal agencies, uses the Management, Organization and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) Schedule to facilitate the process government agencies must go through to buy commercial services.

According to the General Services Administration, contractors like Larta who are placed on this Schedule, "possess a thorough knowledge of quality management theory and practice and have demonstrated that they are capable of providing expert assistance to federal activities."

As a pre-qualified vendor in the Federal Supply Schedule, Larta has completed federally mandated contracting requirements, including those for competition, pricing, small business and other contracting evaluations required for government agencies to obtain outside services.

"This represents a significant achievement for the organization," said Rohit Shukla, Larta President and CEO. "Being qualified for the MOBIS Schedule will enable federal agencies and contractors to easily and quickly procure products and services from Larta."

The MOBIS Schedule significantly reduces the time required to contract services with outside vendors like Larta because the GSA has reviewed vendors' capabilities and pre-qualified them to provide services. Federal agencies place orders directly with the Schedule contractor, and deliveries are made directly to the customer.

The MOBIS Schedule can be used by all federal agencies and the District of Columbia, and provides a dramatic reduction in the time and effort government agencies must expend to obtain services, and allows them to easily work with pre-qualified vendors.

"We hope this will enable Larta to acquire more government contracts in the future. We intend to aggressively pursue work with federal agencies and focus on servicing government organizations," said Victor Hwang, Larta Chief Operating Officer.

Under the Federal Supply Schedule Program, GSA enters into government-wide contracts with commercial firms to provide products and services, at stated prices, for given periods of time. Larta has established uniform pricing agreed to provide discounts for government contracts obtained through the MOBIS schedule.

Contracts covered by the MOBIS Schedule provide services and/or products to support agencies in the implementation and continuation of management, organizational and business improvement efforts.

The Schedule is intended to provide federal agencies with a wide range of product and services, including Consulting Services, Facilitation Services, Training Services, Program Integration and Project Management Services, Support Products, Survey Services, Privatization Support Services and Documentation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution Services.
