$1.6
Billion for Your Small Business
This
year, the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business
Technology Transfer (STTR) programs will provide billions of dollars
to small businesses. Funding is provided for businesses involved
with behavioral research, homeland security, social marketing, biodefense,
and a host of other activities.
Learn
how your company can get
part of the more than $1.6 billion available to small
businesses through government grants and contacts by
attending the National
SBIR/STTR Conference and Small Business Tech Expo,
October 27 through 30 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Rohit
Shukla, Larta's President and CEO, will be speaking
at the conference.
As a competitive three-phase program, the SBIR program
allows qualified small businesses to propose innovative
ideas that meet the specific needs of the federal government.
The STTR program is similar in structure to the SBIR,
but requires small businesses to partner with universities
and other nonprofit research institutions.
The
conference provides each participant with an opportunity
to meet SBIR and STTR Program Managers, fellow attendees,
speakers, and experts from business and government willing
to work with small business owners and managers to help
their businesses.
Conference
participation guarantees entry into the co-located Small
Business Tech Expo (SBTE). The expo will showcase new
technologies, support services available to small business
and technology development, and commercialization opportunities.
