Larta to collaborate with Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership

August 12, 2002

Larta is pleased to announce the commencement of a collaboration with the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. Larta will be working with the Kauffman Center on two projects: an expanded, in-depth update to Larta's Federal Technology Funding Guide, to be distributed by the Kauffman Center and Larta, and production of a comprehensive, multi-sector manual and a video based on Larta University's classes on Business Presentation: From Investor to Customer.

Victor Hwang, Larta's Chief Operating Officer, is excited about the opportunities this collaboration provides. "Larta is honored to have Kauffman's support," he said. "The support will help small businesses access federal funding and polish their communication skills. Together, Larta and the Kauffman Center are providing even better tools to help our entrepreneurs, who form the engine that drives our nation's economy. We need skilled entrepreneurs now, especially in an economic downturn."

Established in 1992 by entrepreneur and philanthropist Ewing Marion Kauffman, the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership is the largest organization focused solely on entrepreneurial success at all levels - from elementary students to high-growth entrepreneurs. The Kauffman Center works to accelerate entrepreneurship in America by reaching individuals of all ages through two focus areas: the delivery of entrepreneurship education and development, and the promotion of an entrepreneurial environment.
